APPRAISALS ARE SUBJECT TO THESE CONDITIONS:
1.
The appraisal/valuation is only a temporary appraisal valid for (30) thirty
days.
2. Upon receipt of the temporary appraisal/valuation,
you forward it to your insurance agent and have them "hold cover" the item
for the replacement appraised amount, subject to the "Master Appraisal/Valuation"
being mailed to you and submitted to your insurance agent.
3. The Master Appraisal
Valuation is written subject to the following conditions:
A. That we receive within 15 days of your
request for a temporary appraisal the item(s) fully described as follows:
A photograph of
the item(s) must accompany the certified copy
of the invoice of purchase and sale. To certify your invoice
of purchase and sale, simply write on the invoice, "This is certified,
true and correct copy of the invoice of purchase and sale, for the described
item(s) as outlined:", and sign and date it. Both of these items will
be retained for our records and can be sent via mail
or courier. Upon receipt, it will be processed quickly and a temporary
appraisal will be issued subject to the conditions herein.
B.
The temporary appraisal can only be used for replacement value insurance
purposes, and carries no other validity for any other purpose whatsoever.
C. Payment must be included with the photograph
and invoice you send in accordance with the fees
posted.
4.
Any statements made that are not entirely true and correct, will cause any
appraisal (whether Temporary or Master Evaluation) to become null and void.
The item is appraised based on the information you provide so inaccurate
or false information voids any obligation nor do we have any liability as
to any eventual outcome. By "ordering" and paying for any appraisal/valuation,
you hereby agree to these terms and conditions, and that to the best of
your knowledge, all statements you make are true and correct in every respect.
5.In our experience, we've seen a major insurance
company without a proper, independent appraisal, make a serious attempt
to settle a claim at less than 25% of the initial purchase price. In this
instance, we refused to acknowledge that the items could be replaced at
this amount. This is an extremely good example whereby the insurance company
is in business to make a profit, and in so doing utilizes every possibility
or opportunity to reduce the payment of a claim. We will not knowingly make
a false statement, or a false representation, for either an insured, or
an insurance company. In all cases, complete disclosure must prevail from
both the insured and the insurance company.
6. It is understood and agreed that we have
the right to withdraw any and all opinions of value, and that such opinions
of value are then withdrawn. The temporary appraisal will then be considered
null and void.
